I'm an Icelander currently living and working in London. Having originally trained as a graphic designer in San Francisco, California, I finally decided to re-focus my creativity towards an old passion of mine - photography.
After 10 years in sunny California the wanderlust struck
and it was goodbye San Francisco hello England.
I have dropped anchor in London for the last four years, most
of which has been on a houseboat.
Growing up in a land of fire and ice, it's inevitable
that the environment has shaped the way I see the world.
Its constantly changing nature and the otherworldly
landscape is truly inspirational. My personal work plays
with our environment, creating new mysterious multi-layered landscapes.
I have great love for natural light and hope to bring
a natural and tactile quality to all my photographic work,
opting to not only create atmosphere and feeling in an natural way but also to present my subjects honestly and candidly.
I'm continuing to look far and wide for inspiration,
who knows where I'll find myself next?
